about the Aquino Family Foundation

The Aquino Family Foundation was founded by Michael Aquino, M.D. a Western New York native, and his wife Cheryl, a Johnstown, New York native. They currently reside in New Jersey with their 2 sons, Gabriel and Nathaniel. Both Michael and Cheryl have fond memories of growing up in New York supported by their devoted families.

Both are forever grateful to the areas where they were raised. To express their gratitude and to carry on their families' values, they established the Aquino Family Foundation in 2010.

The Foundation focuses on the Western New York and New Jersey communities, however other areas have benefited over the years. The Foundation primarily gives to individuals and organizations, with a specific emphasis on youth and disabilities. Additionally, the organization supports individuals with financial hardships caused by unanticipated medical difficulties.

To date, the Foundation has made financial contributions to individuals and organizations in excess of $750,000. Less than 1% of the Foundation’s finances are allocated to administrative expenses.
