The Aquino Family Foundation recently provided a grant to support the Gerard Place Food Pantry. Gerard Place serves the people of Buffalo’s 14215 neighborhood, the poorest community in the city. Through the Food Pantry program, non-perishable goods, personal care and household items are distributed. Gerard Place is committed to helping families attain healthy food through their Food Pantry and take-out meals. The need for these services greatly increased during the pandemic and has not waned. Gerard Place provides other services, such as housing for homeless families, GED programs, job training, senior companionship, and mother/baby programs.
